Mothra - Lagoon 37
Mothra is a custom-designed Jenneau Lagoon 37, built by Tillotson Pearson Industries (TPI) of Warrick RI in 1994. Though TPI built around 40 of these highly desirable catamarans, Mothra is the only one they built with a custom interior and extra heavy duty scantlings. So in the realm of Jenneau Lagoon 37s, Mothra is unique. Special features include a palatial head in the aft cabin on the starboard side, custom galley cabinets and pantry storage, and additional storage lockers forward in the starboard hull. Other nice touches include Tempurpedic™ mattresses in both queen-sized staterooms, Oriental rugs throughout, a 22” flat panel HDTV with DVD player, and custom-built refrigeration. The upgrades and amenities are truly too many to list. We believe that she’s the finest example of this legendary boat afloat.
