The PDQ 36 is noted for its speed,
in addition to its reputation for strength, high quality materials
and workmanship. Catalyst, located in Hope Town harbour, is a tall
rig version of the popular PDQ 36 and with only a 3' draft, she
is ideal for exploring the protected and shallow Sea of Abaco. Her
18' 3" beam gives her tremendous stability, even in strong
seas.
She has 2 full sized staterooms,
plus a 2/3rd sized cabin, ideal for a single of child, or for Captain
Peter, if you want a captained Barefoot Cruise.
She has ample clothing stowage &
shelves, great cross-ventilation by opening hatches & windows
to make sleeping below a breeze! A well fitted galley with double
sinks, freezer/cold box, 2 burner gas stove & oven, colourful
plates & glasses. The head is bright and airy, with a separate
shower stall behind it. The cockpit provides shelter from sun and
wind, clear sightlines and easy access to the controls. The
colour GPS is a chart plotter that makes navigation a snap.
You can visit thriving island communities
such as Man O' War, Great Guana and Green Turtle Cays, to name a
few.
Or you can find numerous uninhabited and uncrowded anchorages where
you can "hang off the hook" and jump into the clear waters
almost any time you feel like it.
Choices include chartering Catalyst
(bareboat or captained), or a time split between Aeolian and or
the Sail Loft, or perhaps a captained day charter during your stay
in Hope Town.
